Supporting Neurodiverse Students Two Day Training Workshop

This professional learning system is funded through an IDEA discretionary grant andis provided by a statewide coordinator. All training materials have been developed bythe statewide coordinator and DPI and are based on needs identified through astatewide stakeholder process. Additional contributions to the training content weremade by an external DPI workgroup. The training system is beneficial to educators supporting students with autism, students with emotional behavioral disabilities, orother neurodiverse students. Emphasis will be placed on utilizing Universal Designfor Learning, inclusive practices, self-determination and self-advocacy, College andCareer Ready (CCR) IEP Five Step Process and CCR IEP Five Beliefs enriched byevidenced-based improvement strategies.

Targeted Audience: Educators, family, community members and people with disabilities working towards supportingbest outcomes for students with IEPs.*Educators in identified districts and parents attend for free

Trainings will occur from 8:30am-3:30pm with registration starting at 8:00

Cost: $50.00 Two Day and $25.00 for one day trainings.
